Unit 35 M1





  • Graphics tablet. -  Some drawbacks of a Graphics tablet is they do not have a large amount of memory, they are also tricky to type with. 
  •  2 Severs. - This might be to little of a space to use.
  • Video camera. - Depending on the make, some video cameras have better resolution than others. The lighting also effects the video camera's resolution.
  • Software...E.g  ( Dreamweaver and Microsoft font page ect.)  - These software's are extreamly expensive, A lot of software's are hard to learn many may need training.
  • Antivirus software. - Sometimes do not work, unless you pay a big amount of money. 
  • Databases. - Some databases are not secure and can be hacked.
  • Scanner. - Scanners can break easily, the glass can also get marks on it i.e finger prints this can be shown on the scan because its on the glass. Also Scanners are limited they can not scan anything larger than A4
  • Printer. - Cheap printers usually jam, this can destroy documents, they can only print certain sizes and colours usually look more dull after printing them on paper. Printers also don't print to the edge of paper this wastes paper.

    ·         Some potential legal implications of using and editing graphical images are if you do not make the image your own the original owner of the image can sue for copyright. This is because you’ve not changed the image enough to the point it doesn’t look like the original image, the owner can sue. Copyright protects original works. To make sure you’re not took to court or sued you have to look into these area’s making sure your image is original, and not like any other company’s or businesses. Trademarks are used to claim exclusive properties of products or services. The owner of a trademark can pursue legal action against trademark infringement. Unauthorised usage of trademarks by producing and trading consumer goods is known as brand privacy. The name or look must not be called the same as another company like “Sky”.  Intellectual property is a piece of work or invention that has come from creativity. Such as a design, this means your image must be Imaginative and not like any other.
