Some potential legal implications of
using and editing graphical images are if you do not make the image your own
the original owner of the image can sue for copyright. This is because you’ve
not changed the image enough to the point it doesn’t look like the original
image, the owner can sue. Copyright protects original
works. To make sure you’re not took to court or sued
you have to look into these area’s making sure your image is original, and not
like any other company’s or businesses. Trademarks are used to claim exclusive
properties of products or services. The owner of a trademark can pursue legal
action against trademark infringement. Unauthorised
usage of trademarks by producing and trading consumer goods is known as brand
privacy. The
name or look must not be called the same as another company like “Sky”. Intellectual property is a piece of work or
invention that has come from creativity. Such as a design, this means your
image must be Imaginative and not like any other.
